Ingredients

  • 1 large head of broccoli, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 16 oz nitrate-free sausage, sliced
  • 2 Tbsps avocado oil
  • 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning (or any of your favorite seasoning blends)
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes, or to taste
  • sea salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees f. and line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. Add the broccoli florets and sausage to your prepared pan.
  3. Drizzle with avocado oil spray and sprinkle with all of the seasonings.
  4. Use your clean hands to combine everything really well.
  5. Roast for 15-18 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender-crisp to your liking.
  6. Sprinkle with shredded cheese then roast for 2 additional minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
