Ingredients

For the Crust

  • 1 Cup Butter Softened
  • 1 ¾ Cup White Sugar
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 ½ Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 ½ Cups All Purpose Flour
  • 21 oz Cherry Pie Filling

For the Glaze

  • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • ½ Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 Tablespoon Milk

Instructions

  1. Spray a 13×9 pan with non stick cooking spray. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in salt, and vanilla extract.
  3. Stir in eggs, one at a time. Gradually stir in flour a little at a time.
  4. Press ½ of dough into a thin layer in your prepared pan. Top with pie filling.
  5. Drop remaining batter over filling using a tablespoon.
  6. Bake for 28-30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely.
  7. Whisk together all glaze ingredients. Drizzle over cooled bars
